Raw Brazil Nuts

The Brazil nut has a rich taste and meaty texture, making it a perfect coconut substitute. Lucky nut that it is, the Brazil nut has the reputation of being one of the richest dietary sources of selenium, an antioxidant. Native to South America, the Brazil nut tree is most fertile in rain forests (not in plantations). It can live to be 1000 years and 50 meters tall.
